Re: Thermal runaway

Ok, so some progress on what's happening, but no good fix ideas. When I received my Flash the SD card had Slic3r settings .ini file. I used this file and printed several parts. Some with significant bridges with no sag. This .ini file has the fans set to be off during the first 3 layers, then on, ev...

Anybody out there?

Hi, Best I can tell (other than my recent posts in the Flash board) the activity on the Tevo forum in general has dropped way off in the past 4-6 months. (In addition, since I received my Flash, after waiting 4+ months, Tevo email addresses (sales@tevo.com, etc.) garner no response.) After initially...

Thermal runaway

Looks like this forum is pretty dead, but I'll try a post anyhow. Second week with my Flash and it works pretty good. Sometimes it stops in the middle of the print and says "thermal runaway". Now watching the display, the nozzle temp is actually lower than set and the bed is right on. (checked with ...

As with any new "toy" there are questions and comments. :D - I ordered it with dual z. I have several other "cnc" things with dual axis drive. None have timing...

Re: Slicer settings for Flash

Yeah, not much to be found...

It's similar to others in the same class, so similar settings might be a good place to start.

I'll give it try when it arrives.

Re: Flash for beginners

I have owned a Lulzbot A101 for years. And have used Slic3r for slicing. I upgraded the nozzle (the original bundaschnozzle burned out) with an E3D. I have made other modifications as well. The biggest problem I have now is small details (like small diameter pillars) don't print well because it does...

Slicer settings for Flash

I'm waiting for my flash to arrive, so I figured I'd get a few things ready. I have used Slic3r before with my A101. But I figured I give ideaMaker a shot. Is there a list of typical/required settings somewhere? When I started to do a new profile in ideaMaker and it wanted typical things like nozzle...
