Re: Need more Staff

I'm occasionally on the site but I don't think enough to be useful as an administrator. One thing I think worth mentioning while we have your attention is that it would be good for the forum to have attachments viewable to non-members. As there is some decent content here, and people will be more l...

Need more Staff

Who wants to be a modersator?? It's mostly just managing spam and moving threads to correct locations. If you're interested, let me know here.

Forum Shutdown

For no reason other than I need to eliminate expenses in order to save for a down payment on a house, I will be shutting down the server in the next month or so. If anyone wants to acquire this forum and domain, it is free. The only costs would be those associated with the transfer of the domain nam...

Re: Defective materails...

Did you adjust your E-steps from 100 to 96.5-97? I get better results at 97, but the Marlin Firmware is normally set to 96.5s/mm.

Re: Defective materails...

Jam is caused by your bowden tube not being inserted fully.
Ooze is caused by your nozzle not being snugged to the heatbreak.

Both of these should have been covered in the videos. Simple and free fixes that should get you up and running pretty quickly.

Sorry for the late reply - I don't get email notifications for some reason.
phpbb sucks at sending out emails. I've spent countless hours fighting it, can't get it to work.

Re: Z-Offset - Touching or Paper Thin?

I do not use an autolevel sensor. I use mesh bed leveling. Similar idea, but it manually probes the bed points and creates the mesh that way.

Re: Z-Offset - Touching or Paper Thin?

When I do my leveling, I do it where the nozzle meets the bed. I have no issues with it. My first layer height is set at 50% of regular layer height. The Z lifts to .1mm (when regular is set to .2mm) and the first layer comes out perfect. Now using Roy's methodology above, I would have to adjust my ...

Re: MagoKimbra MK4duo

Here is my first release of the MK4Duo adaptation for Tevo! This is what I'm running currently with no issues, version 4.3.26-dev. The one feature I have intentionally disabled is Lin_Advance, as there's a code issue somewhere that prevents it from compiling. I never used it anyways, so no loss for ...
